Comment: To Whom It May Concern,
I am sad to send this complaint in to you. We had Lori Clark do Venetian Plaster, Faux paint and feeble try at restaining our railing and spindles. We also had hired her to refinish our railing and stair spindles. We have found thru other professional contractors that have been in our home that she has done a halfway job on list of items starting with Faux finish done without filling and sanding previous nail holes on walls and also did not apply final clear coat finish. Then she had her worker or hired hand cut off our tops of ballisters to update look and he cut them crooked. He also sanded our railing and said she had finished?? It was less than 1/2 way completed? Then we asked her to do two examples of painting our spindles for ok. When she took our railing spindles and treated them ( dipping to strip, wood filler and sanding and two coats of paint) I had two other painters look over her work. We found that the original coat of stain was still on spindles and no stripping had been done, no sanding,no wood filler, just two coats of paint had been done.When we also noticed the paint was easily peeled off with a finger nail? She had not told me the truth and was going to treat all spindles just as she treated those two. We are going to now have to spend twice the money and get other painter to do the correct job on these. She had me in tears one day with pressure to treat one faux wall one way then another & to paint one color than another. I am glad to have her done and out of our home!!
