Comment: The contractor provided a current West Virginia Master Electrician License (ELEC074819). He was to convert a garage outlet into a 240v circuit. He used the garage and outdoor outlet circuit and put a two-pole 60A breaker on a 15A max line. We told him of patio lights breaking, a power surge that ruined our elliptical in the garage and our irrigation system. He said it should do that and was going to be over within an hour to look at it - he never showed. Two days later we contacted Mr. Sparky to repair the work. Mr. Sparky's technician stated what Mr. Kristopher Van Ohlen did was "not only a serious fire hazard, it is highly unprofessional and outright negligent."
