Comment: Job started 11/17/13 was to take 10 days. First thing contractor did wrong he extended patio in wrong direction. Patio was layed on the 11/18/13. We had bad weather that started on the 11/21 - 11/24/13 understandable. From 11/25/ - 11/27/13 heard nothing from Contractor has when the work would resume. I contacted the Contractor myself on 11/29/13. I asked the Contractor what was the plan for completing the project. The Contractor stated he would come over on 11/30/13, heard nothing from him on that day. Contractor showed up on Sunday 12/1/13 early evening with a sub-contractor went over the project with sub-contractor and Contractor again on how I want the patio cover to look including electrical wiring. Everything seemed to be OK. Monday arrived, no one showed up, Contractor or Sub-Contractor. Made contact with Stephens (Contractor)12/2/13 that evening, gave me some excuse as why they didn't show up that day. On the 3rd of Dec, contractor showed with another Sub-Contractor and begun to start the remianing part of the project. To sum up my compliant, No electrical wiring, installation of roofing material not comleted, painting not completed, all trim work is not complted. I paid them $3900.00 of the $4500.00, now they or threating to have a Lein put against my property.

Comment: The worst of the worst, very unethical, claims to be a christian and extremely wealthy, but is only rude and nasty talking. He contracted me to do a fence job, after we agreed on a price for service,he changed everything, never kept his word, he has not payed me a singe dime, he just makes up excuses for not paying,and will get very nasty of you pressure to get your money, do your self a favor and do not work for this man, nor give him business. plus he is extremely rude to the customers, he turned his back at the customer, when the customer told him he was not doing as agreed on the contract.
if you have been cheated by this so called Christian man, lift you word, let others know, people like this should not be permitted to do business. the funny part of all of this, is that most of his conversation is I am rich, but relies on the customers check to try and get me payed, all he does is more excuses from their, what ever it takes to not pay how provides the actual service.

Comment: They have an F rating for a reason I would not recommend them to anybody. I had a cedar fence put in and it took them over five weeks and it still was never completed I have not heard from the company in over two months now. When you do get a hold of them on the phone they promise you everything in the world but it either never happens or it takes three to five days to get done. Do not pay upfront!!!!!!

Comment: Consumers beware!!!!!! There is a reason why this company has an (F) rating with the Better Business Bureau. I strongly encourage you to research this company online and read through all of the negative reviews they have. This company has ripped several of their customers off and are not completing work as promised, per most of the reviews I?ve been reading through, after the fact. If you do business with them, make sure you have a WRITTEN CONTRACT in place. I verbally bartered services with this company, a year ago. (I got them a contract job and in exchange they were supposed to install a free peragola and fence at my home, minus the cost of materials.) They installed my fence and built my peragola. They were FIRED off of the contract job I helped them get, due to job performance and shortly thereafter, they started contacting me, in order to re-coup monies they would have received, had they completed the contract job. This company later on filed a lawsuit against me and produced a phony unsigned contract to the court, which I had never seen or signed. This company is gaining wealth by taking advantage of consumers. Needless to say, after a year, I have had to pay another contractor almost $6000.00 to come to my house and fix the work (peragola), that his company rushed and threw together.

Comment: This company is unprofessional, bad service, late, and uses poor materials. They work under the table with vendors. The original charge was $6500. The workers they hired were caught drinking alcohol on our property while they were supposed to be working. They left trash on the property. They started our fence in the fall of 2016 and the fence is not done in March 2017 and they did not return our money or even a portion. They will not return our phone calls. We had to hire another company to finish the fence. Stephens Fence and Concrete is fraudulent and executes illegal activities.
