Comment: July 1, 2016 Ad for $77 drain special or 15% senior discount (I'm 60 yrs old). When plumber arrived ***. I was in tears. The plumber spent about an hour (on his cell talking to relatives) while working on the sink. After it was unclogged he looked under the sink and said someone didn't know what they were doing and I needed to replace to pipes and them cost $250 ea. When complete I signed a note pad that I couldn't read because I wasn't wearing my glasses and was teary eyed. The bill was $600 and he said he gave me a discount and I would receive the invoice in my email. On July 5th I returned to work and saw and invoice that said a whole bunch of things unitemized so I called day after day for an itemized statement. I wanted to see the discount and what the pipes cost. (I'm sure they were over priced). They refused to give me anything else (I think the site is family business). I wrote a complete to Mr. Goldstein, consumer complaints for CBS-TV where I saw the discounts for Rooter Hero and did not get a reply. My credit card couldn't do anything for me because I signed their terms and agreement. I'm asking you can you please give me peace of mind and see if you can get them to give me an itemized invoice and show me the discount? (If 15% off, the "this and that" probably cost $700). fyi- I saw him remove 1 galvanized elbow pipe and replace it with 1 a plastic pipe. Plumber said I needed 2 pipes and they are $250 ea.
