Comment: Contractor performed poorly on this renovation project. I have expressed my concerns, but the contractor refused to fix and left the project unfinished. He already took 60% of the renovation project payment and the work has completed is only about 10%. I requested a refund from the contractor by sending him a demanding letter. I didn't get any reply from the contractor, but then the contractor filed a mechanics lien on my real property saying I owe him money for the work he did.
