Comment: David's Roofing was hired to repair the roofing /flashing around two skylights. They were contacted in April of this year, did not arrive to provide an estimate until May. They estimated job to include shingle replacement & flashing repair at $1,290 for both skylights. When the roofer arrived in June (Mark), he went up on the roof & noticed that there were some open corners to the copper flashing. He proceeded to fill only a few of these corners (4 out of the total of 8) with a quick-dry tar compound. He didn't replace shingles & did not rework any of the flashing. He was at the home no more than 20 minutes. We asked for a new estimate for actual work done; that is the small application of tar in 4 of the 8 skylight corners. They re-worked original $1,290 estimate down to $790 dollars. When we explained that this was too much for the small amount of partial work completed, David's Roofing (Reid Kodama) told us this was their "minimum charge" for all jobs. This "minimum charge" was never recorded nor communicated to us. Beware! This company is are very unethical and shameless in their unprofessionalism!
