Job description: To replace rotted sills and put flashing on 10 windows

Comment: The contractor said it would take 1 or 2 days. He made alot of excuses he couldn't show up. He admitted the deposit was spent and his partner took some and left and he has heroin addiction. He then promised to do the job and needed more money for materials. Deposit was 1300, his partner took 650, and he took 750. They only came one time and did a poor job with only one window done with the wrong color flashing. After I filed small claims (since France Brockway owner) did not show up to do the job after I paid in full and blocked my number, I talked to his uncle, Steve Brockway, also a contractor, said not to take down payment from him, he's unreliable, and has an addiction. He also added he won't fix anymore of his messes because he doesn't do jobs well or finishes them. I also tried making an agreement for them to do a different job to equal what they took, they never showed for that. I have conversations recorded and saved. They left a ladder, saw horses, and rest of flashing. I constantly had to ask when they were coming because they just wanted to take money and leave or disappear as if they make a living by stealing. Lying about reasons for not coming and partying (posts on Instagram) after expected date job was to be done and money taken.
