Comment: Hired Award Co. to remodel our master bathroom. Job started out very well. We supplied 95% of materials. Once the end of the job was insight, communication and the finishing of the project did not happen.There was only drywall touch ups, painting,grout repairs and installing 3 custom doors, paint and hardware installation. @ of the doors were custom made sliding barn doors,the other was a custom made swinging door to the water closet.Award was paid in full and in fact was accidentally overpaid $300.00. We have attempted to call,text and email numerous times since late July. Many excuses at first for no shows and the last 3 months there was no returned texted or calls. All the drywall repairs and painting were finished by ourselves. We asked for the return of our door hardware ( taken by them for some reason) and a refund of $275.00 for our time to finish the drywall and painting. Knowing I was asking for minimal amount as I am a carpenter for over 30 years, but no longer can physically do the work due to an injury. Our request went unanswered until December 30, 2016 when I informed him his time was up and I was filing a lawsuit and formal complaints against Award Co. His response was he is at a lose also !! ??? I am issuing this complaint to forewarn people that this companies actions. Our project cost a little over $40,000.00, the workmanship was exceptional. They are very skilled. However, not finishing a job does not get rewarded.
