Comment: My husband called AAA Saturday August 8 2020 to check to see why we were not getting hot water. The plumber reported that we needed a new hot water heater. The cost would be$2687.00. He could do the job the following week. He said that the fee for the house call was $133.00 CASH. My husband gave him $135 . The man did not have change so he kept the entire amount. I called Monday to set an appointment. Called four times, leaving messages each time with the answering service. Again, on Tuesday I called. Four times. Left messages. No one returned my calls. No one came to install a new heater. On Wednesday we called another company. The plumber came out. He said that the pilot light was out. He lit the light We have had no problems since the second plumber came out. I feel that the first company overcharged us and was going to sell us an expensive product was we did not need. We are in our mid 70's and we were easy prey for them. I am reporting this experience so other customers will be alarm of the questionable conduct
